Blue Skies and chilly temperatures
Have enjoyed some fabulous cold weather runs and hikes over the last few days. On Saturday the 1/2 Marathon and the Beginner Groups ran the streets of Whonnock and Mission, there was even a bit of trail blazing on the golf course! How some of you are still wearing shorts amazes me. This morning I hiked up to the cell tower with Liz and Michelle and our dogs, we hit a light dusting of snow on the second or third turn. If the weather holds I will play power pole tag with the ladies from Body Camp on Wednesday morning.
Santa Shuffle 2009
Wishing the group of lovely ladies from the Saturday morning Beginner Running group, those from Lululemon Sunday morning Run Group and the rest of the Santa Shufflers a great run tomorrow!

Sun at last!
The caption for December on my Runner’s World calendar says “Running is 90% mental and 10% crazy”, the last few weeks I would have said that it was 10% mental and 90% crazy. Today was 100% about the running glasses!
My running glasses have not made contact with my skin since the I ran the San Francisco 1/2 back in October, putting them on today was like re-connecting with an old friend. Just something about wearing running glasses takes your leisurely run around your neighbourhood to a triumphant gold medal finish, your picture on the cover of Time, endorsements, a talk show…I know a bit carried away, but they sure make you feel good
