Boston Baby!

Today was the 116th Boston Marathon and pretty special day for my running family because D and Soraiya were running it!
Live TV coverage started at 6am and the viewing party started at 7:15am. And we couldn’t let them start the race without us.
Ready to run like hell!
Congratulations to both of you on completing this huge accomplishment (and in 30 degree above normal temperatures). We are so proud of you and can’t wait for your race re-cap.

There are no words to express how all your love support has meant to us. Keri your words “shoulders down and back” and “run fierce” rang through my head for the whole 26.2 miles!
Those words mean more than you know D. I am so proud of you. xoxo

Love this. Still overwhelmed by all the love and support. There were times when I did think about deferring but the thought of coming home to you guys with no medal was not an option. You guys are what made me fight through the heat. I almost lifted my top up at times I was so hot but Keri’s voice came in my head and thought the photos would be worse than running photos usually are. Thanks again everyone. It was a wonderful experience, we were spoiled at the Boston marathon.
