Day 2 – 30 Day Sweat Challenge

I have always taken Thursdays off in the summer. It is my day to spend with my daughter any way we feel, and we nick-named them long ago Adventure Thursdays. Due to a little tourney she has coming up this weekend, and a three hour practice this evening, she took the morning off to rest up so I took the opportunity to head up to the Grind. I know that it must have broken her little heart not to be able to join me…NOT.
To balance out my cardio, I met Shelly Beads later in the afternoon for a little weight training.
How was your day?


Did a 30 min cardio/strength interval workout.
Quite excited to get my “Sweat on” by 7:00 this morning for Day 2 of the Challenge, I was afraid that blow-drying my hair may not qualify (if this is incorrect, please let me know).
So after work, did a 40 min Trail run @ AVT
5.5 mile steady road run with some nasty little pickups in the second half. (5 x 1 minute/30 second recovery)
30 minute walk while pulling a baby in a wagon and walking my dog:)
60 mins Pilates sculpt this morning, bike ride with the kids (ok, I rode the bike while they giggled in the bike trailer. I rode most of the way and by most I mean the downhill parts. Pushing us all back uphill counts too right?!) LOL Finished the day with 60 mins Pilates on the ball.
Got in a FANTASTIC 40 min run!!
(Does chasing my kids around all day count as a workout as well?? If it does I’ve got some serious mileage going on there!)
40 minute road run and then a 15 minute dog walk
Hi I gardened for 2 hrs today! But my last two days did not post from my phone. you said they came in but now I have my computer back I can’t see them. we got some xplainin’ to do.

Ops forgot to post yesterday, body camp in the morning and today hike up Thorn Hill with Christine.
K I am really messed up here Wednesday was body camp, Thursday 2 hours weed eating and yard work and today was hiking and sweating in the boat at Stave.
Day 2 a weight work out at the gym. NOTE I wore appropriate foot wear. No sandals! Oh yeah and a late night “garden” work out .
