Rae and Benita at the finish line

Good morning and welcome to day 28 and the final 3 days of the 30-Day Sweat Challenge. Where has this month gone? I had an awesome morning yesterday hanging out at the finish line of the Scotiabank 1/2 marathon and 5km. It was so cool to see you all coming in (sorry that I missed you D and Soraiya, you are just too damn fast) and with such fantastic times, you made Mama proud! I would like to officially welcome Rae to the “Sub 2 Club” and congratulate Soraiya on a new PB! Make sure that you are giving those muscles some TLC and a really good stretch today.

Hitting the LC this morning for an ass kicking by Christine.

Went to Cultus lake waterslides with the students in my class today. I thinking that climbing the stair to the COLOSSAL CANYON five or six times is more than 20 minutes sweat time. ( I think I was sweating because I was so cold it is hard to tell) Worked on arms and abs with pilates by the TV also.

Thanks for the congratulations and thanks Mama for all the training and support, you have made me the runner I am today with your tips and your amazing clinics you run..

Didnt really rest my legs even though they are a lil sore. went for a run bright and early this morning before work, and off to a spin class at Tanya’s studio.

20 min of working in the yard, 10 min of house work, 20 min of pilates. That is about it. Still tired from yesterdays race but feel great. Must mean I didn’t try hard enough. :)

  7. Marcia Mahoney says:

Evening class at the rec centre. It was taught by a very young wipper snapper, and boy did she make us sweat. It was a very long hour. I wish my arches in my feet didn’t burn for the first 1/2 of the class.
