Day 30 – June 30/10 – Final day of the challenge

Here it is, day 30, the final day of the 30-Day Sweat Challenge…sniff sniff.  We have worked hard all month, so let’s go out with a BANG!  A couple of weeks ago we set some new goals.  Mine included climbing a couple of mountains and getting my butt kicked by other instructors.  Last Wednesday  I attended a fabulous class with Sarah…my calves screamed for 3 days!  I did manage to climb one mountain, the plan was to climb it again on Monday but my daughter’s class was performing at her final school assembly that day as well…Mom first, I got a butt kicking from Christine in the morning and attended the assembly.  I guess I am a glutton for punishment, I will be hitting Sarah’s class this morning and will climb Iron Mountain before the day is out!

Hey, it’s hump day, make sure that you enjoy some lifestyle activity as well ;-)

Did some leg work…and then finished up the morning with a spin class. As for my goals of last couple of
weeks, I managed to take a yoga class and did enjoy it. I very much need it and will attend more on a regular
basis. For my running pace… I feel I have increased a little. That is something that will always be in the works. I swear I was built for comfort not for speed.
Thank you very much Keri for taking the time and energy for this challenge. It was fun and nice to be accountable
    to someone.

45min run, biked to and from work, did some ab work and tricep dips, and finished off the day with a spin class.. Now to rest up for the Pitt Meadows Canada day run. Quads still a little sore for the half, hoping they will be ok by tomorrow morning.
As for my goals: I got a road bike and have been using it; did my best on the Scotiabank, had a new pb time; didnt get to do the grouse grind :( , but I will

Thanks Keri for the great challenge.. :)

Thaks Kerri for inspiring us and motivating us the past 30 days…lost 2 lbs and increased the wts I use at the gym (only a little but its a start). As for goals I ran the Scotia bank 1/2 and tired out a new yoga place. Today rounded out the challenge with a 50 minute run around the beautiful homes in Shaugnesy on a lunch break while at a workshop in Vancouver.

Great challenge, lost a couple pounds and feel great. As for the goals, the three hot yoga outings didn’t work out as work and lack of time got in the way. Today a great vigorous swim for 30 minutes and a long walk with the dogs. To end the day, some arms, abs and Daisy Dukes while watching “So you Think you Can Dance”. Have a great summer all and see you in September.
