Day 5 – 30 Day Sweat Challenge

Up and at ‘em early this morning and got in a 30 minute run. I beat the heat and both of the hills on my route were still in the shade, it was a thing of beauty!

Get out and show your pride today.

Out the door before 6:30 to beat the heat. 7 mile steady LSD road run. 70 minutes; happy pace. Maple Ridge is wonderful as it’s just waking up. Was able to ID two more grow ops.

8am, 11km run/1hr.16min run along the Coquitlam River trails… appreciated the shade!

DAY 5 ANOTHER GREAT WALK WITH THE DOGS! DOWN BY THE WOMEN’S PRISON I ALMOST GOT THROWN IN THE SLAMMER WITH MY BAD BEHAVIOUR ;)

  4. Ashley Kuczynski says:

45 minutes of pilates and weights, followed by a 20 minute dog walk :)

  5. Jaime Yerbury says:

30 min yoga for hips buns and thighs (felt more like hot yoga today!) Plus a swim with the kids to cool down and yard work.

up to gentle stretching and a breakfast of yogurt and fruit. Went to give blood at 12:20 (saw Gisele). Then passed out twice after the procedure. 3 hours later and lots of sweat, stretcher, medical attention I was able to leave with my hubbie. Not enough food and a reaction to the heat while giving blood so my blood sugar dropped too low. It is rest for me for the rest of the day (nice thing is the nurse said my heart rate was an athletic heart rate!!<3)

  7. Brandi says:

Today was my “rest” day, so it was off to Alouette Lake and played there with the kids for 3 hours, then home and got in about 50 minutes of much needed yard work. That one definitely worked up a sweat!

30 min bike ride. Thanks for the challenge – it forced me off my butt. Dear Sheila, you’re a trooper. Hope you’re doing much better!

just couldn’t put my sweat experience with the sun umbrella in writing….

  10. Gisele says:

I guess a fruit/nut bar & a drink of chocolate milk kept me stable on my feet Sheila! I guess it’s one pint of blood you’ll never forget giving … someone will greatly benefit from it, I’m sure! And you looked wonderful giving it! Take care!

  11. Keri says:

Sharon – no need to put your umbrella experience in writing, I was your witness, and you did sweat!

Shelly – can’t wait to hear what you almost got thrown in the slammer for now.

Gisele/Sheila – congrat’s on the blood donation…Sheila – sorry to hear about your bad reaction but good for you on your heart rate!

  13. sharon says:
